The Introduction to
Gamer Rage
If you’re a gamer, I bet I can make you grit your teeth or at least make your blood pressure with 10 simple questions:
1) Have you ever been really far on a level and died without saving, causing you to start over completely?
2) How about being spawn killed 3 times in a row from the same person?
3) Or even worse a camper holed up in some abstract corner of map who keeps killing you over and over and being pissed at him for camping but at the sometime pissed at yourself continuously being killed by that POS.
4) How about having a teammate block a doorway while your getting shot in the back?
5) What about that time you were doing really well in online multiplayer and the game disconnected due to connection interruption.
6) How about when your in the middle of a really intense game and other people in your house are asking you ridiculous and annoying questions?
7) The controller runs out of batteries in a crucial moment of your game....PANIC RAGE

8) No? Let’s try this… Not being able to move or throw a single punch in a fighting game because the person you’re fighting is using some outrageous combination?
9) A power surge shuts down your console right in the middle of slogging through a Halo game on Legendary without saving progress.
10) Having to choose to pee or keep playing causing you to fidget uncomfortably through the next 3 or 4 games until you finally are mad enough to take a piss.
Told you I could do it. Just writing about it caused me to remember bad memories of games past. The struggle is as real as could be. We all have the “rage” inside of us and have experienced it at least once in our gaming lifetime. Some of us can prevent outward displays of the rage, some get verbally abusive to the gamers, family members etc., but the worst cases are when people go full blown cave man and start destroying stuff. We’ve either watched videos online or have seen the rage up close and personal. There’s different degrees or shall I say stages gamers progress through on their way to full blown rage.
This chart should to gauge the rage.
